These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Neon Cursor website at neoncursor.com and the Neon Cursor browser extension (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Neon Cursor provides free, downloadable custom mouse cursors and a browser extension that displays a chosen cursor on the websites you visit. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you can form a binding agreement with us and are not barred from doing so under any applicable laws. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and such children should not use it.
3. License to use cursors
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the cursors made available through the Service for your own personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the cursors or any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
4. The browser extension
The extension is licensed, not sold, to you for use strictly in accordance with these Terms and the permissions described in its store listing and our Privacy Policy. The extension's host access is used only to draw the custom cursor on the page; it does not read or transmit the content of the pages you visit.
5. User-submitted content
If the Service allows you to create or upload cursor artwork (for example through the Constructor or Cursor Creator tools), you are solely responsible for what you submit. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you upload, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display such content for the purpose of operating the Service. We may remove any content at our discretion, including content that infringes intellectual property rights (see our DMCA & Copyright page).
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by Neon Cursor and protected by intellectual property laws. Some cursors are inspired by popular characters and themes; these remain the property of their respective owners, and we do not claim ownership of, or affiliation with, those brands.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; (c) scrape, copy, or redistribute the catalog at scale; or (d) use the Service to infringe the rights of others.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neon Cursor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
10. Third-party services
The website may display advertising through Google AdSense and use analytics services. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and policies, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date below. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
